Ari Bald & CJ Scott - Dart 2 Da Heart EP

Stockholm duo Ari Bald and CJ Scott bring their love of jazz, funk, soul and disco samples to the Dart 2 Da Heart EP. Produced and mixed at Sätra Studios in the city’s southern suburbs, the record takes cues from Chicago disco house and the club sounds of the late 1990s and early 2000s. Raw production and a playful use of source material keep the emphasis on movement rather than polished nostalgia.

Disko Monster and Soul Patch Seb lead the A-side, with Rotmos Latino and Husky High on the reverse. All four tracks appear in their extended mixes, giving DJs the full versions across the two sides. Snatch Raw releases the EP on black 12-inch vinyl, catalogue SNATCHRAW020.
