Avalon Emerson & The Charm places Emerson’s voice and songwriting at the centre of music made during a break from her touring life as a DJ. Working with a small group of collaborators, including executive producer Bullion, she opens up a more personal space for reflections on people and places left behind. Shimmering pop melodies and electronic detail shape the nine-song album, connecting her wide-ranging listening habits with a new emphasis on sung expression.
