About this release
Black Bones and Miles J Paralysis share the fourth Crying Outcast release, Black Cross, bringing Belfast and Bradford together across a split EP of tribal electronics, drum-machine patterns and deep ambience. The two artists alternate throughout the record, setting up a conversation between their approaches to rhythm and atmosphere.
Black Bones supplies Psychic Rain Dance and Low Voltage Dreams, while Miles J Paralysis contributes Twilight and Two Up. The result is a set of four DJ tools for the stranger edges of a club session, where insistent percussion meets shadowy textures and low-frequency pressure.
