About this release
Chanel Beads’ second album shares the title Your Day Will Come with the project’s debut, while developing a more collaborative set of recordings. Shane Lavers worked in his Brooklyn studio with returning contributors Maya McGrory and violinist Zachary Paul, whose playing takes a greater role here. McGrory co-wrote Silver Cup, while Dust In The Wind was developed with Isaac Eiger. Across fourteen songs, layered instruments and synthetic textures sit alongside fragmented vocals and more defined arrangements. The album keeps the spontaneity of the project’s earlier recordings, using imperfect takes and contributions from friends as part of its structure.
