About this release
Chiara Della Monica and Tonico 70 reinterpret Ajere through a reggae arrangement, joining Neapolitan melody with a Jamaican groove. The song follows the sudden end of a relationship and the move from disorientation towards independence, with Tonico 70 adding a direct rap contribution. Produced by Peppe Maiellano, the recording features electric guitar from Antonio D’Apolito and percussion by Francesco Fasanero, alongside Maiellano’s keyboards and programming. This Maledetta Discoteca single presents the vocal version on the A-side and its instrumental on the reverse, pressed as a 45rpm 7-inch.
