Melodies International reissues I’ll Show You How by the Cinnamon Soulettes, backed with Wishing On A Wishing Well. The recording originally appeared as a 1970s private press associated with Seattle producer Kearney Barton. The label’s research found little surviving documentation about the group or the songwriter credited as L. Leavy, leaving much of its history unresolved. What remains is the two-song soul single itself, presented together on this seven-inch edition. The reissue gives listeners a route into a recording whose musical life has outlasted much of the paperwork around it.
