About this release
Moon 2 is Justin Robertson’s second album as Five Green Moons, bringing dub rhythms into contact with angular guitars, chant-like vocals and restless electronic textures. Brix Smith appears on two tracks, adding a post-punk connection to the record’s bass-heavy arrangements. Echo and space play a central role, with Robertson drawing on dub’s studio techniques alongside more experimental influences. The eleven-track sequence runs from Calling OS to Sense Receding, with Boudicca opening the second side. Released by Solitary Cyclist, this edition is pressed on green vinyl.
