About this release
Fontaines D.C.’s Dopamine Chamber is the Irish band’s fifth studio album, produced by James Ford for XL Recordings. Following Romance, the group expands its sound with cold synthesisers, programmed elements and forceful drums, bringing electronic textures into its melodic songwriting. Strings inspired by 1960s Italian pop add another layer to the arrangements.
Across eleven songs, the album explores the relationship between pleasure, distraction and unease in a world shaped by technology and instability. The tracklist includes ‘Marianne’ and ‘Where Is Gone?’ with Rosalía. This standard black vinyl edition includes a printed inner sleeve and folded insert.
