Four Tet's New Energy finds Kieran Hebden connecting detailed electronic production with warm melodies and unhurried rhythms. Released in 2017 on Text Records, the album moves between spacious ambient passages and house tracks, with acoustic textures and carefully placed samples giving the music a human feel.
