About this release
You Only Live 2wice is an eight-track Freddie Gibbs album built around his own performances, with no guest vocal features. Its themes follow a period of upheaval in his life, moving through reflection, setbacks and recovery. Executive production comes from Gibbs and Ben Lambo Lambert, with production contributions from BADBADNOTGOOD, Kaytranada, Teddy Walton, Speakerbomb and others. Crushed Glass places his delivery against a violin-led backdrop, while 20 Karat Jesus opens the sequence and Homesick closes it. This ESGN / Empire reissue presents the complete album on opaque red vinyl, with four songs on each side.
Format: Opaque red vinyl LP, reissue
