Michael Fiedler returns as Ghost Dubs with Oblique, his second album for Kevin Martin's Pressure imprint. Following Damaged, these twelve tracks move further into blurred rhythms, low-frequency weight and spacious electronic textures. ‘Low Times’ opens the record's slow descent, while ‘Soft Collapse’ and ‘Almost A Structure’ explore its quieter, more diffuse edges. Mastered by Stefan Betke, the album brings dub's studio techniques into contact with ambient music and experimental electronics. Presented as a double LP.
