Grace Jones's fifth studio album arrived on Island in May 1981. Nightclubbing connects disco, new wave, funk and reggae across nine tracks, including Pull Up to the Bumper, Walking in the Rain and I've Seen That Face Before (Libertango). Recorded at Compass Point with Chris Blackwell and Alex Sadkin, it places Jones's voice against the rhythm section of Sly and Robbie. The title track sits alongside Use Me and Demolition Man, showing the range of material gathered into the album's distinctive sound. This single vinyl edition follows the original nine-song sequence.
