Graham Collier - Down Another Road @ Stockholm Jazz Days '69

Recorded at Stockholm’s Jazz Days festival in 1969, this live set gives Graham Collier’s Down Another Road material longer arrangements and more space for soloing. Collier’s sextet includes Harry Beckett, Nick Evans, Stan Sulzmann, Karl Jenkins and John Marshall, bringing together a distinctive group of British jazz players. Burblings For Bob takes the place of the studio album’s Danish Blue, alongside Molewrench, Lullaby For A Lonely Child and Aberdeen Angus. Caspar Sutton-Jones remastered the original tapes at Gearbox Records for this double-LP edition, housed in a gatefold sleeve with notes by Collier biographer Duncan Heining.
