GW Edits - Adriano Italiano

GW Edits opens its catalogue with Adriano Italiano, an edit built around Adriano Celentano's 1972 single Prisencólinensináinciúsol. The full-length version joins material from the original record's two sides into an eleven-minute arrangement, revisiting a song whose unusual vocal language helped give it a lasting life among DJs.

The source single first appeared on Celentano's Clan label and was also issued in the UK as The Language Of Love. Here, the extended edit takes the first side, with Adriano Italiano and a separate Version on the reverse. Three treatments of the same source give this twelve-inch its focused character.
