About this release
Ibiza-based Jazz N Palms follows Ses Rodes with two pieces inspired by the island’s landscapes. El Valle / La Costa continues the project’s exploration of place and atmosphere through jazz, soul and relaxed instrumental grooves.
‘El Valle’ reflects changing light over the island, with organ leading a loose rhythm section. On the reverse, ‘La Costa’ uses drums and bass to suggest movement across the sea. Recorded at Magrana Studio in Ibiza, the two tracks are presented on a dinked 7" single.
