About this release
Keita Sano and Sauce81 bring house rhythm, boogie-style synthesizers and soul vocals together on Feeling Alright. Sano wrote, mixed and mastered the recording, while Sauce81 supplies piano, keys and vocals. The production keeps a stripped-back rhythmic foundation, allowing the keyboard parts and vocal delivery to carry its disco-inflected movement. Released by Madrid’s Lovemonk, the seven-inch pairs the full vocal recording with an instrumental version. The two sides offer different perspectives on the same collaboration, with the instrumental drawing attention to the interplay between the rhythm and keys.
