Karizma's Knevrm!nd project approaches the edit as a chance to rebuild a song from the ground up. New production and rearranged vocals give familiar material a different shape, with the focus firmly on how it works in a club. Vol. 1 brings four selections from that growing catalogue to vinyl for the first time, gathered together as a compact introduction to the alias.

'Make !t Last' and 'When We Get By' take the A-side, with 'Mus!c' and 'For The Ch!ldren' on the reverse. Rather than simply extending the original arrangements, these cuts reflect Karizma's hands-on approach to reconstruction. A black 12-inch for selectors drawn to house edits with a producer's touch, released on the Knevrm!nd imprint as KNEV1.
