Kraak & Smaak - Pleasure Centre

Pleasure Centre is Kraak & Smaak's sixth studio album and their first released through their own Boogie Angst label. Developed over two years after Juicy Fruit, it moves between electronic funk for the dancefloor and more relaxed downtempo songs.

The group worked on demos at home before spending a month in Los Angeles recording with collaborators. That West Coast setting feeds into the album's yacht-rock, dream-pop and indie influences. Izo FitzRoy, IVAR, Berenice van Leer, Wolfgang Valbrun, The Palms and Gavin Turek are among the featured voices across the fifteen tracks, presented here on a gatefold double LP.
