About this release
We Live In The Hills brings Max Essa and Eddie C together for four tracks written and produced as a shared project during lockdown. The EP works with slower disco and Balearic house textures, moving from the guitars and acid lines of Melon Steppin to the rolling bass and playful synthesizers of Save Me. The title track shifts towards a deeper funk setting, while Sixth Bridge closes with a late-night, road-music feel. Released through Razor-N-Tape Reserve, the record connects the duo's melodic approach with rhythms built for a more unhurried dancefloor. This RNTR065 12-inch presents the complete four-track sequence.
