About this release
Remixes From the Clouds reframes music from MD Pallavi and Andi Otto's Songs For Broken Ships through four remixes, a vocal-only version and an album cut. Simone de Kunovich takes Prayer To The Cloud towards hypnotic techno, while Peter Power gives the same song a more organic, downtempo treatment. Prayer-a-Pella isolates Pallavi's voice before the reverse turns to Clockshop, with remixes by Auntie Flo and Kaleema alongside the Album Version. Pallavi's Kannada vocals connect the arrangements, bringing her musical background into different electronic settings. The six-track twelve-inch presents the vinyl selection on Multi Culti.
