Miss Kittin and The Hacker’s ‘First Album’ pairs Caroline Hervé’s vocals with Michel Amato’s electronic production. First released in 2001, it brings electro, techno and synth-pop into the electroclash setting associated with the duo. ‘Life On MTV’ and ‘Frank Sinatra’ turn their attention to celebrity and club culture, while ‘1982’ draws on eighties pop references. ‘Nurse’ and ‘L’Homme Dans L’Ombre’ explore a colder side of the record. This Nobody’s Bizzness double-vinyl reissue presents fifteen tracks, including ‘Walking In The Sunshine’, ‘Frank Sinatra 2001’ and ‘The Beach’, across four sides.
