About this release
Calm Down brings Most Wanted's 1989 hip-hop recording to 7-inch vinyl in its Club Version and instrumental form. The track's uptempo rhythm connects rap production with the breaks-led dancefloor sound of the period. The vocal version occupies the first side, while the instrumental puts the beat and sample arrangement in focus on the reverse. Fever Records' reissue uses the original 12-inch artwork, preserving the single's visual connection to its earlier release. The two-track pairing offers both approaches to the same recording in a compact format, rather than adding later remixes to the programme.
