About this release
Mystic Jungle’s Sunset Breaker is Dario di Pace’s third album, bringing together disco, funk, lovers rock and psychedelic soul on Periodica Records. Developed across several years and recording spaces, its nine songs range from dancefloor grooves to more reflective, sunlit passages.
‘Secrets’ and ‘Some Lovin’’ pair disco rhythms with guitar, saxophone and vocal exchanges. ‘Innervision’ and ‘Twilight’ explore reggae and dub-pop textures, while ‘The Road’ and ‘Get Me Higher’ draw on 1960s psychedelia and relaxed soul. The title track closes a varied set built around warm instrumentation and memorable melodies.
