Nu Genea - People Of The Moon

Nu Genea return with People Of The Moon, a ten-track album on NG Records that builds on the Mediterranean grooves of Bar Mediterraneo. Massimo Di Lena and Lucio Aquilina bring together funk, disco and soul with Afro-Cuban rhythms, highlife guitar and flamenco touches, pairing their melodic sensibility with vocals in five languages.

Tom Misch joins the duo on the rolling funk of 'Onenon', while María José Llergo features on 'Acelera' and 'Celavì'. Fabiana Martone, Celinatique and Gabriel Prado add further voices across a record that moves from vintage synth textures to bossa nova influences. Including 'Sciallà', this vinyl LP balances dancefloor energy with an easy, unhurried flow.
