Phenomenal Handclap Band follow their collaboration with JKriv with a Razor-N-Tape release of their own. Burning Bridges sets guitar-led funk against plaintive vocals, with Prins Thomas extending the track into a faster, more spacious Diskomiks. It Was The Summer begins as a sparse slow burner before building around a strong backbeat and insistent vocal. Each Other, the partnership of Justin Strauss and Max Pask, recast it with arpeggiated synths and acid lines. Both originals and both remixes appear on this 12-inch, connecting the New York group’s live-band sound with two different club approaches.
