Ramzi - Hyphea

Phoebé Guillemot’s RAMZi project develops an imagined natural world on Hyphea. The album grew from sketches made for Frédéric Lavoie’s mushroom documentary Fun Fungi, then took shape between November 2021 and May 2022. Its ten tracks move through ambient, dub and electronic territory, approached as separate environments within a connected landscape. Priori appears on 'Foggi' and Nap on 'Afloat', adding to a record built through an intuitive writing process. Released by Music From Memory with artwork by Marinka Grondel, Hyphea carries the documentary’s starting point into RAMZi’s wider world of sound.
