Skinshape - Nostalgia

Will Dorey’s Skinshape project turns to memory on Nostalgia, tracing the feelings attached to childhood, familiar places and moments of happiness and sadness. Recorded with vintage analogue equipment, the album continues his blend of psychedelic textures, funk and trip-hop with an emphasis on warmth and detail. Dorey’s background includes time in Palace, but Skinshape gives him a separate space for studio work and a wider palette of influences. The eleven-track LP moves from 'Theme For Lazarus' through 'Dreams Of Panama' and 'Bohanon’s Cornucopia' to 'Dawn', gathering those reflections into a self-contained set for Lewis Recordings.
