About this release
The Avalanches explore the pull of commercial jingles, advertising and familiar technology sounds on No Bad Memories. Their fourth album turns these fragments of shared memory into the raw material for a new set of sample-based songs, reflecting on the ways entertainment and brand culture become part of childhood experience.
The twenty-eight-track sequence includes contributions from Jamie xx, Karen O, Nikki Nair, Jessy Lanza, Ryoji Ikeda and many more, moving between songs and short interludes. This indies exclusive edition spreads the album across two blue 180g LPs, with a gatefold sleeve, printed inner sleeves and booklet.
