About this release
Thom Yorke’s Confidenza soundtrack brings orchestral writing, jazz ensemble playing and electronics together for Daniele Luchetti’s 2024 Italian-language thriller. Produced by Sam Petts-Davies, the score features the London Contemporary Orchestra alongside musicians including Robert Stillman and Yorke’s Smile bandmate Tom Skinner. The twelve-piece programme moves from the opening The Big City through Knife Edge and Prize Giving, with shorter cues such as Secret Clarinet and In The Trees set between longer passages. Four Ways In Time opens the second side before the title piece and the closing On The Ledge. XL Recordings presents the complete soundtrack on a single black-vinyl LP.
