Thomas Almqvist - Nyanser

Thomas Almqvist’s Nyanser follows a distinctive path through folk, jazz and acoustic experimentation, with his adventurous guitar playing at its centre. Originally issued by Sweden’s Mistlur Records in 1979, the album connects those influences through a highly personal instrumental approach. Be With’s reissue returns to the original analogue tapes for its remaster, bringing the ten-track set back to vinyl. This 2023 edition is pressed on 140g vinyl and includes a new insert with liner notes and original photographs. Intro and E.M. lead into the title track, with Coral Reef, Frost and Sortie among the pieces on the second side.
