Toco - Outro Lugar

Toco’s Outro Lugar brings Brazilian songcraft into conversation with S-Tone Inc.’s production, with Roberto Menescal playing guitar throughout. Much of the album was recorded in Rio de Janeiro at Menescal’s studio, joined by bassist Adriano Giffoni and pianist Adriano Souza, before further sessions in Milan. Rosalia De Souza appears on 'Bom Motivo', while Coralie Clément joins Toco for 'Contradição'. This first vinyl edition marks the album’s fifteenth anniversary and includes 'Guarapiranga', heard in Silver Linings Playbook, alongside the title track later sampled by PinkPantheress. Samba, bossa nova and jazz meet across eleven carefully arranged songs.
