Tribal Earth - Interaction / Reaction

Canadian artist Michael Bennett's Tribal Earth project combines post-punk, minimal synth-pop, funk and dub on Interaction/Reaction. Recorded in 1983, the music sets Bennett's vocals against Linn Drum rhythms, weighty basslines and synthesizers that move between ringing textures and sharper accents. The title track is backed by Got to Move and Who You Are (In the Movies), making a three-track account of the project's early sound. Invisible City Editions worked with Bennett on this fortieth-anniversary edition, remastering the recordings directly from the original master tapes.
