Underground System - Looking In

Underground System return to Razor-N-Tape with three original tracks and two remixes on Looking In. The EP moves from low-slung Balearic grooves to leftfield funk and quicker backbeats, keeping the group’s flute, synthesizers, percussion and offbeat vocal hooks in focus. Looking In, Sleazy and Your Distraction fill the first side, offering different balances of live playing and club rhythm. On the reverse, Nenor reworks Sleazy and Clive From Accounts takes on Looking In, pushing the arrangements further towards the dancefloor. The five-track programme makes room for both the band’s own identity and the remixers’ approaches.
