Unknown Artist - UU015

UU015 marks five years of unknown - untitled with the label's first double LP. In keeping with its anonymous approach, the twelve tracks are presented simply as A1 through D3, putting the listening ahead of the artist credits. The release sits within the label's broad electronic territory, spanning bass music, garage, breaks, techno and electro across four sides.

The physical edition gives the anniversary release a substantial presentation: two 180g black records pressed at Record Industry, housed in a matte black reverse-board gatefold sleeve with an embossed UU logo. Die-cut inner windows, black paper inner sleeves and full-colour centre labels complete the package. It's an extended introduction to a label whose records invite discovery before revealing who's behind them.
