About this release
Compiled by Sean Johnston, A Love from Outer Space reflects the slower-paced club night he founded with Andrew Weatherall in 2010. The selection follows ALFOS’s connection between house, dub, post-punk and cosmic dance music, bringing together tracks that have shaped its dancefloors. This twelve-track double LP includes Neville Watson’s Dub of The Blow Monkeys’ ‘Save Me’, Jay Shepheard’s remix of Cisco Cisco, and Andrew Weatherall’s version of Phil Kieran’s ‘Find Love’. Brioski’s ‘Calling 626’ closes the set in an edited version. Issued by Material Music, this is the standard black-vinyl edition.
