About this release
Attack The Dancefloor's Special Remix EP brings four Z Records recordings together through versions by Jimpster, Andrés, JKriv and The Vision. Jimpster reworks The Sunburst Band's He Is with warm Rhodes, dubbed guitar and deep house rhythm. Joey Negro featuring Sacha Williamson's I Recognise follows in Andrés' bass-led remix, using synthesizers and vocoder textures. On the reverse, JKriv adds disco arpeggios, strings and percussion to Prospect Park's The Kinda Love, before The Vision gives Jakatta featuring Seal's My Vision a piano-led treatment. The four-track twelve-inch draws these contrasting remix approaches into the seventeenth release in the series.
