Forager’s Child Of Nature gathers ten privately pressed songs from the 1970s and early 1980s, tracing a shared mood through soft rock and psychedelic folk. The compilation draws on self-released recordings by musicians working outside the usual commercial channels, with songs of lost love, spiritual searching and hopes for social change. Luellen Reese’s Silvery Waterfalls, recorded on California’s north coast, stretches electric guitar and ethereal vocals across seven minutes. Key Of Creek’s title track offers another view of natural harmony. Together, these selections form a portrait of independent music shaped by personal visions and a persistent undercurrent of melancholy.
