About this release
Street Knowledge pairs Warren G's Regulate with Luniz's I Got 5 On It on a seven-inch single. Nate Dogg joins Warren G on Regulate, whose arrangement draws on Michael McDonald's I Keep Forgettin'. The reverse brings Luniz and Michael Marshall together on I Got 5 On It, connecting a second West Coast rap recording to the pairing. Released in 1994 and 1995 respectively, the songs retain their distinct vocal and production approaches. This SK4501 edition gives each recording its own side, bringing the two tracks together in the label's forty-five series.
