About this release
Massive Shoe is the third album from Way Dynamic, the solo project of Melbourne musician Dylan Young. Produced and largely played by Young, its songs combine minimalist folk-pop, art rock and baroque pop with falsetto melodies and intricate harmonies. The arrangements stay understated, leaving room for turns of phrase that move between sentiment and humour. Young's background in bands including Cool Sounds and Good Morning sits behind the record's ensemble feel, even when he is handling much of the playing himself. This Jagjaguwar edition is pressed on opaque silver vinyl and adds Officially to the album programme.
Format: LP, opaque silver vinyl
Label: Jagjaguwar
