About this release
Who Is William Onyeabor? collects the Nigerian musician's synth-led funk recordings through Luaka Bop's World Psychedelic Classics series. Electronic keyboards, drum patterns, guitar and vocals shape extended songs that move between dance music, soul and psychedelic funk. Body And Soul and Atomic Bomb open the selection, with Good Name, Love Is Blind and Fantastic Man among the central recordings. The triple-vinyl edition contains thirteen tracks, adding four songs beyond the nine-track CD programme. Jungle Gods joins When The Going Is Smooth & Good, The Way To Win Your Love and Love Me Now in that expanded selection.
