Wilson Tanner's debut captures the easy pace of two friends making music in a Perth backyard. Andrew Wilson, better known as Andras, and John Tanner of Eleventeen Eston bring together synthesizer, clarinet and the sounds of their surroundings, letting the setting become part of the record. The result is ambient music with an informal, unhurried character: melodic and spacious, with small details left in rather than polished away.
