About this release
Anderson .Paak's Malibu moves between soul, funk and hip hop with a drummer's feel for rhythm and a singer's ear for melody. The Bird opens the album with a reflective mood, while Am I Wrong and Come Down bring its tight, danceable grooves into focus.
Guests including BJ The Chicago Kid, ScHoolboy Q and Rapsody join .Paak across a sixteen-track set that balances sharp rapping with expressive singing. This tenth anniversary edition on Empire presents Malibu on coloured double vinyl, with The Waters, The Season / Carry Me and The Dreamer among its highlights.
Format: 10th anniversary coloured vinyl 2LP
