De La Soul - Art Official Intelligence: Mosaic Thump

Art Official Intelligence: Mosaic Thump brings De La Soul into a new phase of collaborations on their fifth studio album. Released in 2000, the record features Redman on Oooh and Chaka Khan on All Good?, alongside guests including Busta Rhymes, Xzibit and members of Tha Liks and the Beastie Boys. The trio’s own exchanges remain central, with short interludes connecting the larger songs across the programme. Chrysalis’ double-vinyl reissue returns the album to a full-length LP setting, preserving its movement between group performances, guest verses and sung hooks.
