About this release
Skinshape and Horus pair N'téro with its dub version, featuring Senegalese vocalist Modou Touré singing in Wolof. The recording comes from Will Dorey and Ben Bell's fully analogue reggae and dub project, rooted in their shared interest in Jamaican music of the 1960s and 1970s. The pair founded Horus Records in 2013 and developed the collaboration after more than two decades of making music together. Here, Touré's soulful vocal leads the first side, while the reverse shifts the focus towards the production and instrumental space of the same recording.
