Orbital - Optical Delusion

Recorded at the Hartnoll brothers’ Brighton studio, Optical Delusion brings a broad cast of guests into Orbital’s electronic world. Their first studio album since 2018’s Monsters Exist includes contributions from Penelope Isles, Anna B Savage, Dina Ipavic, The Little Pest, Coppe and The Mediaeval Baebes. Sleaford Mods join them on Dirty Rat, with Jason Williamson’s vocal set against driving beats. Across ten tracks, these collaborations extend the duo’s techno and rave foundations into different vocal settings. This London Records edition presents the album on two black vinyl records, with Ringa Ringa opening the set and Moon Princess closing it.
