About this release
HMC revisits three recordings from his mid-1990s catalogue on Reflector’s Acid Trac EP. Acid Trac #1 and Acid Trac #3 first appeared on Dirty Acid Tracks in 1996, while Cum On comes from the reverse of his 1995 single Phreakin’. The selection centres on stripped-back acid rhythms and looping machine patterns, with Cum On adding a vocal fragment to its resonant bassline and forceful drums. Together, the tracks trace the connection between HMC’s house and techno productions. The two Acid Trac cuts frame Cum On across this three-track twelve-inch.
