About this release
Josi Devil brings club rhythm and cinematic sound design together on No More for TSVI and Wallwork’s Nervous Horizon. Following Make It Better / Restless Sleep on Hessle Audio, the EP opens with the title track before moving into ‘Duinpan’, which puts garage rhythms against sharply shaped electronic sounds. The closing ‘M.e.S’ is a collaboration with TSVI, connecting Josi Devil’s production with the label’s rhythmic approach. Beau Thomas at Ten Eight Seven mastered the release, with artwork by Ciarán Birch. The compact set moves through three different arrangements while keeping its focus on bass, space and dancefloor movement.
