About this release
Miles J Paralysis opens Crying Outcast with a dub-influenced set built from heavy drums, hazy percussion and unsettled vocal fragments. Still Waiting establishes a repeating groove before shifting its rhythmic direction, with Brian Not Brian and Piers Harrison’s Like A Version Disco Dub No.4 focusing more tightly on its core pulse. Always Liked Scarecrows moves into leftfield house through distorted sampling and forceful drums. Eavesdropper lowers the tempo while retaining the record’s dense rhythmic feel. Written and produced by Miles Henry, the EP balances club movement with an eerie atmosphere, using delay and sampled detail to keep its arrangements in motion.
