About this release
Roy Of The Ravers returns to Emotional Response with the first part of White Line Sunrise III, drawing on archive recordings for a dancefloor-focused set of machine rhythms. “Primavera Anjo” opens with melodic techno, followed by the squelching TB-303 lines of “Planet Earth”. The reverse side shifts towards deeper chords and arpeggios on “G-Force”, before “Glass Knife” brings rolling breaks and double bass into the picture. Changing time signatures and melodic detail connect the rhythmic tracks with Roy’s more exploratory work. The 12-inch comes in a reverse-board outer sleeve with a black paper inner.
