About this release
Static Flow’s self-titled EP draws on the meeting point between early techno, electro and UK breakbeat rave. Spread across two records, the ten tracks bring acid lines, broken drums and bass-heavy rhythms into a sequence rooted in the sound of the early 1990s. Pulse opens the double pack, followed by the acid breakbeat of Cubic and the clipped rhythmic patterns of Formula. Energy Flow, Tribal and Code 5 continue the focus on machine-driven grooves before Thrust and Frequency 1 close the set. Released by Fragment in a die-cut sleeve with an information sticker.
